Join an international high-level scientific conference Gene Forum

From 24 to 25 August, the Institute of Genomics of the University of Tartu and the Gene Center are organising an annual high-level scientific conference on genetics and genomics – the 22nd International Gene Forum 2023. The event will be a hybrid meeting at the Estonian National Museum, Tartu, Estonia.

Due to its interdisciplinary scope, Gene Forum 2023 brings together 20 distinguished experts from Europe and the US to discuss the progress in the field. The keynote speaker is the highly distinguished Professor Virginijus Šikšnys (University of Vilnius, Lithuania), whose research has significantly contributed to the development of CRISPR technology.

Speakers will discuss a wide range of topics, including:

  • Genomics of monogenic disorders
  • Pharmacogenomics
  • Personalized medicine
  • Microbiome
  • Single cell omics
  • Mental health
  • Population genomics

The working language of the conference is English.
