The next Guest Seminar of the CoE for Genomics and Translational Medicine will be held tomorrow, April 3, 2018 at 16:00 (Omicum building, room 105) by prof Markku Laakso (Institute of Clinical Medicine, Internal Medicine, University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio).
Title of the talk: Genetics of monogenic diabetes and type 2 diabetes
Abstract: The presentation describes what are the new approaches in the genetics of monogenic forms of diabetes and type 2 diabetes. It describes especially the recent results from the population based METSIM study having > 10,000 participants.
The Centre of Excellence for Genomics and Translational Medicine is funded by EU European Regional Development Fund (Project No.2014-2020.4.01.15-0012).
